Dr. Yarlagadda, referred to as Dr. Y by most patients and families, has been practicing Psychiatry for 20 Year.
Dr. Y practiced at Cook Children's Health Care System in Fort Worth, TX, from 2006 to early 2018. During this time, she provided Psychiatric care to highly complex, mentally and medically fragile children and adolescents.
Dr. Y served as the Medical Director of the Psychiatry Department at Cook Children's for 5 years. During this time, she was passionate in advocating for the provision of comprehensive health care for children by helping to integrate care with pediatricians and other specialists. These efforts helped obtain grant funding for an expanded Inpatient Psychiatry unit at Cook Children's for children ages 2-12.
Dr. Y has been voted "Top Doctor" by the Dallas Morning News, nominated by her peers and patients. She also received the "Above and Beyond" award from her physician peers for her dedication to patient care at Cook Children's.
Dr. Y completed her Child & Adolescent Fellowship training at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.
Dr. Y completed her Adult Psychiatry Residency at Henry Ford Health Systems, Detroit, MI.
Dr. Yarlagadda is Certified by the American Board of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, she is also Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Benjamin has been with Lotus Psychiatric Services since January, 2022, working under the supervision of Dr. Y. Benjamin is known for his enthusiastic approach to patient care and energetic demeanor. When he is not in our clinic Benjamin works at John Peter Smith Hospital Psychiatry Department in a variety of settings seeing both adolescent and adult patients experiencing severe psychiatric problems.
Benjamin completed a one-year Psychiatry Fellowship for Advanced Practice Providers at John Peter Smith Hospital. This training involved working in consult-liaison psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, outpatient clinic, partial hospitalization, and inpatient units including adolescent, adult and the local commitment alternative unit.Benjamin completed his Physician Assistant Studies at University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas.Benjamin attended Benedictine College where he majored in biology and played collegiate soccer.
Benjamin participated in medical missions in Belize and Rwanda providing healthcare in rural areas. When he is not working, Benjamin enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children.
